  • Ukraine's economy sees growth 8 quarters in a row - State Statistics Service

    Ukraine's economy demonstrates positive dynamics of development during the last 8 quarters. According to the data released by the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, the real GDP in the IV quarter of 2017 compared with the third quarter increased by 0.4%.The data released by taking into account the seasonal factor.

    "Compared with the 4th quarter of 2016, the increase is 1.8%," the State Statistics Service reports.

    The positive dynamics are affirmed by the indicators of international trade. Thus, in 2017, exports grew by 19% to $ 43.3 billion, while exports to the EU grew by one third. Import growth has reached 26.4%.

    Foreign trade operations were carried out with 223 countries. Total exports to the EU countries amounted to 40.5% of total export.
