
Stepan Poltorak: United States is driving force of changes, reforms, Ukraine's support by international partners, we hope our cooperation will grow in 2018
In the
framework of the working travel to the
United States, Minister of Defence of Ukraine General of the
Army of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak
met with officers of National War College.
Brigadier
General Chad T. Manske, Commandant, National War
College, Fort Lesley J. McNair, Washington, D.C, briefed the audience
on college history and its famous alumni. Two Ukrainian officers who
participated in ATO attend courses in the college.
“I am
very satisfied. I see patriots in this college. I am happy that
all other officers learn Ukrainian history, its fighting for independence and
territorial integrity”, Gen. Poltorak said.
The
Minister of Defence of Ukraine briefed the audience on progress
of defence reforms and prospects of Ukraine-US cooperation.
“Today, the
United States is a driving force of changes, reforms, support for Ukraine by international partners.
I hope that the dynamics of our cooperation will grow in 2018.
I invite your officers to Ukraine to meet with our military.
Ukrainian soldiers have finished a serious school of war. Our experience
is valuable and we are ready to share it with our friends”,
he underlined.
