Tuesday, January 23rd, Chief of the General Staff – Сommander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Army General of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko met with the United States Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations Kurt Volker.

During the meeting, Army General of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko informed the American diplomat about the current situation in the East of Ukraine.

The two sides exchanged views on topical issues of regional security and prospects for the development of bilateral relations between Ukraine and the United States of America in the defense sphere.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch took part in the meeting.
