The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine projects an increase in the average wage in Ukraine as a result of 2018 up to UAH 10 thousand. This was stated in an interview with The New Time by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman.

"We have improved the average salary in the country (by the results of 2017) up to UAH 7.4 thousand. Now it amounts over UAH 8 thousand. We believe in the current year it will achieve UAH 10 thousand," the Head of Government said.

Meanwhile, he highlighted that rate of increase in prices will be slower than an increase in incomes.
