The Cabinet of
Ministers of Ukraine has approved the Concept for the Development of Digital
Economy till 2020, which will allow our state’s approaching with the best
examples of the use of modern technologies in various fields of the state's
activity - from industry to education and health care. Commenting
on the resolution, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr
Groysman emphasized that the world is transitioning
into a model of digital economy, and Ukraine has great potential in this
sphere, as the IT sector is one of the driving forces of our development.
"New technologies are penetrating in all spheres of life. And here we have opportunities, including in the distribution of services, advanced products to improve the quality and competitiveness of the economy," stressed Volodymyr Groysman. It is crucial to ensure the ambitious plan (for introducing elements of the digital economy) is implemented. We must advance further."
