In the framework of official visit to Croatia Minister of Defence of Ukraine General of the Army of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak held talks with Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenković.

Minister Poltorak thanked Prime Minister Plenković for his longstanding stance and support of the Ukrainian people.

“I am sure that thanks to your support our defence ministries will cooperate successfully”, Gen. Poltorak stressed.

They discussed the issues of further cooperation of the two countries.

“We plan to hold joint exercises with Croatian troops and we hope you will support our initiative. There are many NATO instructors in Ukraine, they train our military and we would like to learn Croatian experience as we think your experience is also unique”, Minister Poltorak said.
