Prime Minister commissions by the end of Tuesday, December 19, to resolve the issue of power supplies to settlements and eliminate congestion on motorways
Prime Minister of
Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman
instructed by the end of Tuesday, December 19, to resolve the problems of electricity
supplies and eliminating traffic congestion caused by abundant precipitation. The
Head of Government said during an emergency conference call summoned in the
framework of the working visit of the Head of Government to Vinnytsia
region.
"I have no
interest in the quantity of equipment and deicing agents you have. I
wonder whether you have traffic on the roads, or not, people are stuck in gridlocks,
whether homes in settlements are heated or not. The country has everything necessary
- both resources and finance. What is the problem?
Is it sloppiness?"
requested Volodymyr Groysman.
"We see it vital to ensure efficient coordination chain: head of regional
state administration – regional offices of Autodor (State
Road Agency of Ukraine), SES and other services. I
call on [RSA heads – ed.] to maintain control and monitor the situation on the
ground."
The Prime
Minister emphasized that there are currently no problems with snow removal or
renewal of energy supply. "Each
particular head of Regional State Administrations at 21.00 shall report on progress
with settlement the problems", accentuated Volodymyr
Groysman.
