The US delegation led by California National Guard Commander Major General David S. Baldwin visited the Ukrainian Air Force Command in Vinnytsia and held talks with the Ukrainian delegation led by Commander of the Ukrainian Air Force Colonel General Serhii Drozdov.

The parties focused on discussions of priorities of bilateral military cooperation between the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and California National Guard.

The Ukrainian party briefed guests on the current situation and prospects of development of the Ukrainian Air Force. The meeting participants also spoke about development of bilateral cooperation in security of air bases (airfields) and cooperation in the framework of the Multinational Joint Coordination Committee on Military Cooperation and Defence Reforms.

Moreover, the two sides focused on partnership with an eye toward the multinational exercise Clean Sky — 2018.
