December 4, the Branch Agreement between the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the Trade Union of Employees of State Institutions of Ukraine for 2018-2020 was signed. The said Agreement defines the obligations and arrangements binding on both parties.

The Branch Agreement was inked by Petro Tsygykal, Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and Yuri Pizhuk, Chairman of the Trade Union of Employees of State Institutions of Ukraine.

The signed agreement determines the basic principles of recognition of powers, protection of labor, socio-economic rights and interests of employees, establishment of business partnership relations in the interests of protecting the state border of Ukraine.

The Branch Agreement shall enter into force upon its signing and this Agreement shall be valid until December 31, 2020, or until the conclusion of a new or extension of this Agreement. It should be noted that the norms of the document will provide reliable public control over the observance of the norms of the current legislation of Ukraine in the field of labor relations.
