First Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Ivan Rusnak held talks with H.E. Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Ukraine Salem Ahmed Salem Al-Kaabi

First Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Ivan Rusnak held talks with H.E. Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Ukraine Salem Ahmed Salem Al-Kaabi.

Representatives of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and State Concern Ukroboronprom attended the meeting and participated in discussions.

The parties focused talks on priorities and prospects of cooperation between Ukraine and United Arab Emirates in defence industry.

Ivan Rusnak congratulated H.E. Ambassador on the occasion of the upcoming National Day of the United Arab Emirates, as well briefed on current situation in east of Ukraine.

“It is a difficult situation in Ukraine in the context of Russian aggression. Russia tests new equipment in east of Ukraine. Thus, we must succeed in arming our military”, First Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine stressed.

H.E. Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Ukraine Salem Ahmed Salem Al-Kaabi thanked for cooperation and expressed interest in development of bilateral relations.
