The next year should be the year of Ukraine's success story, as the Government in synergy with the President and the Parliament has drafted a number of landmark decisions for the country that are need further approval and implementation. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman announced in his video address.

He stressed that one of the aforesaid decisions is a draft state budget for 2018 which the Cabinet of Ministers timely submitted to the Verkhovna Rada, and today the document will be considered by the Parliament in the first reading.

"This budget envisages a 3% growth in the economy of Ukraine, however such growth forecast might be improved. Everything will depend on our further steps and actions, " the Head of Government noted. "But even 3% means that we will produce goods to the tune of 400 billion hryvnias that is more than in 2017. Tens of thousands of people will get jobs, salaries, and the economy will develop."

According to the Prime Minister, the budget offered by the Government is clearly prioritized. Thus, the document firmly singles out security and defense expenditures to the tune of UAH 165 billion. "We will finance education, health care, and ensure the continuation of decentralization. This will enable cities, villages, and districts to build roads, schools, kindergartens, hospitals, and other infrastructure facilities. We will also build roads and develop our energy independence. 2018 will be the year of our success," Volodymyr Groysman asserted.

Moreover, the Head of Government emphasized that all decisions should be made on time. "And we will demonstrate together with the President and Parliament the ability to make decisions that will be aimed at success," the Prime Minister claimed.
