On November 27, 2017 the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and Microsoft Ukraine signed the Memorandum on Cooperation (MoC). The subject of this MoC is to cooperate in implementation of defence information technologies considering the NATO standards and approaches.

According to the Directorate of Information Technologies of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, cooperation will include the application of the experience of cooperation of Microsoft and NATO, EU, and US armies in formation of protected and secured IT infrastructure of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, implementation of information defence systems and ensuring their security, as well as training of IT specialists of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
