Minister of Defence of Ukraine General of the Army of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak held talks with Chief of Joint Staff of the Lithuanian Armed Forces Major General Vitalijus Vaikšnoras.

General Poltorak briefed the Lithuanian delegation on current situation in east of Ukraine.

“The current situation is under control of our military. The available resources and capabilities are enough to fulfill all the tasks assigned. Our commanders are young, smart and experienced”, Gen. Poltorak said.

The head of the Defence Ministry also informed about reforms in the Ukrainian army according to the NATO standards and about establishment of the Reforms Control Centre.
