
Minister of Finance kicks off a working visit to Brussels
On November 22-24, Oleksandr Danyliuk, Minister of Finance of
Ukraine, will pay a working visit
to Brussels, Belgium, where the Eastern Partnership
Summit will be held. The
Ukrainian delegation headed by President
of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will take part
in the abovesaid
Summit.
The Minister will
meet with Richard Szostak, Adviser to the
President of the European Commission.
Oleksandr Danyliuk is also scheduled to hold a meeting
with Vazil HUDÁK,
Vice-President of the European Investment Bank. The parties
will discuss the current status
of implementation of joint projects
and the signing
of new projects,
including of the Agreements on the project
“Extension of the Subway Network
in Kharkiv” which foresees funding to the
tune of 160 million euros.
In the framework
of the visit
the Minister will meet with
Valdis Dombrovskis,
Vice-President of the European Commission in charge of
the Euro, Social Dialogue, Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets
Union. The interlocutors will tackle the issue
of Ukraine's implementation of the conditions necessary for the
next tranche of macro-financial assistance to the
EU.
