On November 21 Ukraine
celebrates the Day of Dignity
and Freedom which commemorates two significant events in Ukraine’s
history - the Orange Revolution of 2004 and the
Revolution of Dignity of 2013.
These revolutions have
shown the boundless power of the Ukrainian
people and its aspiration to create a modern
democratic state in which freedom
of speech and the rule
of law prevail.
The Day of Dignity and Freedom
is a day of victory over
totalitarianism, a day of the European
choice of Ukraine, a day of Ukrainian patriotism.
We are proud
of the heroes
who defended the independence of Ukraine and
who continue to defend our
country against the backdrop of
Russian aggression.
Glory to Ukraine!
Glory to heroes!
