Cabinet of Ministers initiates changes to the system of state supervision and monitoring, pledges the Prime Minister
The Cabinet
of Ministers of Ukraine, in the framework of a business support policy and the
revitalization of business activity, initiates changes in the system of government
supervision and control, and the transition to risk-oriented methods in work
(carrying out inspections of enterprises solely on the basis of clear criteria
for identification of risks). Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr
Groysman announced. The Head of Government took part
in the Annual General Membership Meeting of the European Business Association,
which is one of the largest business communities in Ukraine.
“We will
change approaches to government supervision and control. I want every
businessman to be respected,” said Volodymyr Groysman. “But as bizarre as it may sound, the principal
assistance from the state is not to disturb the business. Hence, we must embark
on a risk-oriented approach in the supervisory system. It will be our ideology.”
The Prime
Minister stressed that the proposed initiatives are part of the overall package
of measures that the Government will implement in the framework of building a
favorable business climate and pursuing a policy of systemic economic growth.
"The
year of 2018 and subsequent years will be entwined with esteem for the real
sector of the economy and legal businesses", stressed Volodymyr
Groysman.
