The outflow of
young and skilled workers from Ukraine is
today the greatest threat to the state.
Therefore, the essential task of local self-government
authorities is to demonstrate the real results
of the decentralization
reform in the amalgamated communities, and especially for young people. This
was announced by Vice Prime
Minister/ Minister of Regional Development,
Construction, Housing and Utilities of
Ukraine Hennadii Zubko during a communication with the heads of
local self-governments.
He placed a special
emphasis on the fact that
young people should see the
prospects of self-realization on the ground. "In communities, the maximum involvement
of young specialists in particular in municipal
institutions and organizations should be put into
practice," Vice Prime Minister urged.
According to him,
the restoration of vocational education,
as well as
the strengthening of the primary
care setting in the country
side within the framework of
medical reform will increase the
attractiveness of life in amalgamated
territorial communities.
"Young people are looking for
work elsewhere because they have
no opportunities for their own professional
and personal realization. We must implement infrastructure investment projects, launch a reform of medicine
in rural areas, create a quality system of vocational education,
and offer motivational packages to young specialists.
These are steps towards better
life standards and a new quality of
the personnel potential of the
united communities as well as
of the whole
country," underscored Hennadii Zubko.
