On October 30, 2017, a regular joint meeting of the "Ukraine-Israel" inter-parliamentary friendship group took place in Jerusalem with the participation of people's deputies and members of the Government.

During the meeting, people's deputies held talks with Speaker Y. Edelstein, Vice Speakers, Heads of Commissions and Knesset Deputies. The parties discussed a number of issues of bilateral cooperation, political and security situation in Ukraine and Israel, as well as in the region of the Middle East.

During the meetings of the Ukrainian delegation with the Defense Minister A. Lieberman, the Minister of Jerusalem Affairs and the Minister of Environmental Protection Z. Elkin and the Minister of Aliyah and Integration S. Landver were raised  the issues of Ukrainian-Israeli relations in political, security, trade, economic, investment, humanitarian and other spheres.
