The Government of Ukraine has embarked on an efficient and constructive dialogue with businesses, expresses commitment to prolong the existing programs of support for entrepreneurs and at the same time to be an effective platform for solving problems. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman announced during a meeting with leading companies of Ukraine, that was chaired by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and gathered the leadership of the General Prosecutor's Office and law enforcement agencies.

"It is significant when the dialogue is carried out with the participation of the President and in the presence of law enforcement officers. Our task is to provide sustainable economic growth and to open up the state's potential," the Head of Government said.

Volodymyr Groysman reminded that for already year several tools for promoting business activity have been operating in Ukraine. Among those are the Single Window at the customs, undergoing a system reform, the introduction of the ProZorro e-procurement platform, a significant reduction in the arrears of VAT payments accumulated over the past periods - from UAH 15 billion to UAH 900 million, the introduction of special government structures, inter alia the Investment Support Office and the National Industry Development Committee.

At the same time, the issue of relations between businesses and law enforcement structures and supervisory bodies that should promote business development, but in some cases on the contrary - hinder all positive processes raises concern.

"Development will be impossible if entrepreneurs feel uncomfortable and under threat of any attack, including on the Government part," the Prime Minister urged. “We are steadfast in making clear steps to remove all obstacles, barriers and abuse. If this requires personnel changes, we are ready for that. It is the pivotal point for irreversible and systemic changes and our communication should end up with tangible solutions."
