Government allocated UAH 1.7 billion for projects of socio-economic development of regions
The Cabinet of
Ministers of Ukraine has allocated UAH 1.7 billion for the implementation of over
a thousand projects of social and economic development in various regions of
the country. The corresponding decision was taken during a Government sitting
on Wednesday, September 27.
The document, among other things, envisages financing for a road bypassing Dnipro, for completion of a perinatal center in Lutsk, and reconstruction of the Khmelnytsky water canal. "This concerns the whole complex of socio-economic development. We hope that local authorities would properly utilize the resource, thus implementing these projects through transparent tenders and at smart prices," the Head of Government said. He added that the largest number of the projects would be realized this year.
