The situation at the border checkpoint of Ukraine at Shehyni, through the attempts by some politicians to break through the border and to enter Ukraine violating migration legislation, is unacceptable, punishable by law, and most importantly - it creates chaos and another wave of dangerous populism and the destruction of statehood. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman wrote on Facebook.

Commenting on the events of September 10, he stressed that the breakthrough of the Ukrainian border is a crime. "An aggravated responsibility must be attributed to those who dared to humiliate and raise hand to those guys who protect our state and its borders", said Volodymyr Groysman.

He drew attention to the fact that it is the turning point for Ukraine to make vital decisions.

"I have already told that it is just the time we can expect attempts to be intensified aimed to destabilize the situation on the part of those who are eager to jeopardize the success of Ukraine. Unfortunately, this is what really happens. In light of the developments, I want to appeal to MPs, politicians once again – don’t feed the machine of destruction and chaos. Let us join our efforts and do everything necessary to make Ukraine successful. Now it's crucial to fight for the statehood instead of fighting for power", urged the Head of Government.
