Prime Minister of
Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman arrived on a working visit to Odessa region. Upon
arrival, he took part in the solemn laying of capsule on the occasion of the
start of the construction of a new runway at the International Airport “Odessa”.
Upon completion of the construction work, the airport of Odessa will be able to
handle all classes aircrafts.
“We will find a
resource to ensure Odessites get a new runway in 30
months. It will facilitate the development of economy in both regional and general
planes”, the Head of Government said.
In the framework
of the visit Volodymyr Groysman will take part in the work of the II High Level
International Transport Conference "Integrated Transport Corridors in
Europe-Asia Connections". He emphasized that the Conference is a
groundbreaking event to promote the development of transport potential of
Ukraine and involvement of Ukraine's into the global system of passenger and
cargo conveyance.
The Head of
Government is also scheduled to hold talks with Prime Minister of the Republic
of Moldova Pavel Filip. During the negotiation the parties will
focus on border cooperation and implementation of the Road Map of cooperation
between the two states.
Within the
framework of the trip, the Prime Minister will open a new AutoHUB
in the Odessa seaport and got familiarized with the process of major repairs of
a section of M05 Kyiv-Odessa route.
