Prime Minister claims Government will grant aircraft enterprises the exemption from the payment of import duties and VAT on individual commodity import groups

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, at its meeting on Wednesday, August 9, considered the draft decree "On Approval of the Procedure and import volume of goods into Ukraine by aircraft enterprises from exemption from the payment of import duties and value added tax," which envisages the reduction of the financial burden on enterprises of the aircraft industry and provides additional incentives to develop one of the most promising sectors of domestic industry.

The Government's decision can be attributed to the Law of Ukraine "On the Development of the Aircraft Industry". It will affect the enterprises involved in the development or production, or repair or refurbishment or modification, maintenance of aircraft and aircraft engines.

«It is the very thing for the development of aircraft industry. Moreover, the Parliament adopted a package of bills, hence we approve the necessary decisions concerning the said industry», stressed Volodymyr Groysman, while presenting the said decision.
