Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman advocates the involvement of a wide range of the public, experts and relevant organizations in developing and discussing of a qualitative model of turnover of lands that would benefit the interests of farming. This statement was issued by the Prime Minister in the course of A Question Time for the Government at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

«Ukraine, farming, the agricultural sector have a burning need for the new law on land turnover and improvement of existing mechanisms, including lease (land). We are working in this direction. The bill on land turnover must be elaborated in the interests of the revival of Ukrainian farming», assured Volodymyr Groysman.

He also stressed that the Government is already taking all possible measures to counter illegal land takeover. Thus, a number of decrees have recently been adopted that complicated any contrary to law actions against landlords or tenants.
