
Government will continue a policy of supporting foreign representative offices in order to promote Ukraine's interests in the world, says Prime Minister
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will continue the policy of
comprehensive support of foreign representative offices of the state as part of
the program of promoting the interests of the nation in the world and providing
coverage for foreign partners of political and economic activities. This was
stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during communication with religious leaders and
representatives of the Ukrainian community in London. The meeting was held as
part of the visit of the Head of Government to Great Britain.
«We will support our citizens abroad and our diplomacy. It is crucial to
invest in institutes abroad in order to promote Ukraine's interests worldwide.
We are a great European country and we have to raise public awareness of
Ukrainian history, culture and achievements of the present», stressed Volodymyr Groysman.
He thanked the representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora for their
active role in promoting Ukrainian culture and support of Ukraine in the
conditions of Russian aggression and handed the awards to the Association of
Ukrainians in Great Britain, the Ukrainian Institute in London, the Shevchenko
Library and Archive in London as well as to the representatives of the
Ukrainian clergy.
