First Deputy Minister of Defence holds talks with Chief Monitor of OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine

First Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Ivan Rusnak held talks with Chief Monitor of OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine Ambassador Ertugrul Apakan. The parties discussed the situation in the east of Ukraine and cooperation with the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine.

“The Ukrainian party praises support and attention paid to development and reforms of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Mr Rusnak stressed and thanked the Mission representatives for their work and contribution to reduction of intensity, peace, stability, and security in east of Ukraine. First Deputy Minister of Defence remarked that all the activities of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine were aimed at observation of the Minsk Agreements and de-escalation of conflict, and underlined that the Ukrainian party would contribute to monitoring and verification activities of the Mission.
