The revival of
river transport and use of river and sea routes will boost the development of
logistics capabilities in many economic spheres, in particular in the
agricultural sector. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr
Groysman while
familiarizing with facilities of a new transshipment terminal for shipment of grain and
oil crops for river transport in the Bilenke
village, Zaporizhia region.
«River transport is almost halted. We can fully harness the potential of the said transport for goods transfer around
the world. We need a new legislative framework as well as support of the river
fleet. There is a great potential for the development of the river transport», underlined the Prime
Minister.
