On June
13-16, 2017 the 146th session of the Working Party on Customs
Questions affecting Transport of the Inland Transport Committee of the Economic
Commission for Europe (UNECE) is taking place in Geneva.
Participants
of the session are discussing the today's status of various international legal
instruments in the area of transport and international trade, including the
Customs Convention on the International Transport of Goods under Cover of TIR
Carnets (TIR Convention, 1975), the International Convention on the
Harmonization of Frontier Controls of Goods of 1982, the International
Convention to Facilitate the Crossing of Frontiers for Passengers and Baggage
carried by Rail of 1952, the Customs Conventions on the Temporary Importation
of Private Road Vehicles of 1954 and Commercial Road Vehicles of 1956, as well
as proposals concerning amendments to them.
The experts
of the Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Association of
International Road Carriers of Ukraine as well as representatives of the
Permanent Mission of Ukraine in Geneva participate in the 146th
session of the Working Party
