Ambassador Valeriy Chaly took part in the Annual Meeting of the Ukrainian National Credit Union Association
In his speech, Ambassador briefed Ukrainian American credit
union leaders on current US-Ukraine bilateral relations, geopolitical situation
with regards to Russian aggression against our country as well as on progress
in reforms implementation in Ukraine. Valeriy Chaly underlined significant contribution of UNCUA to the
development of credit unions in Ukraine with USAID’s support, humanitarian
assistance to citizens of Ukraine affected by the Russian aggression as well as
development and promotion of Ukraine’s culture and traditions in the United
States. Ambassador Chaly stressed on importance of
strong voice of Ukrainian diaspora in America to
mobilize support of Ukraine in its fight against aggressor as well as in
efforts to modernize and reform the country.
