Prime Minister got acquainted with progress in the construction of the National Children's Specialized Hospital "OKHMATDYT"

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman got familiarized with the process of construction of the National Children's Specialized Hospital “OKHMATDYT”. The foundation for the new medical complex had been laid in 2011, but in 2013 all construction activities were suspended while the purchased expensive equipment wasn’t used.

In autumn of 2016, with the support of the Government of Volodymyr Groysman the erection activities were resumed. Currently, the facility is being constructed by about 400 builders. The total area of the new complex will be over 67 thousand sq m, it will have seven blocks in which 10 modern Surgery Departments, 5 Oncological and Hematological Departments and a Diagnostic Department will be placed.

Unique medical equipment purchased and assembled for the new "OKHMATDYT" will allow thousands of sick children to receive highly qualified medical assistance in Ukraine.
