Volodymyr Groysman about development of aircraft industry: This sphere has a great potential and requires investment, Gov't is engaged in the process of finding cooperation projects

Ukraine possesses a great potential in the field of aircraft, but such production requires massive investment, hence the Government is seeking ways to set up international cooperation projects inter alia for development of a joint product. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during A Question Time for the Government at the Verkhovna Rada on Friday.

“In the segment of transport aircraft we have enough serious opportunities for conclusion of new contracts with other countries, this work is being carried out, said the Prime Minister. – Development of the aircraft sphere - cannot be occurred in a day as well as cannot be resolved in a very short period of time. In the course of official visits to different countries I always raise the issue of cooperation seek to create a joint product, and we have triggered the collaboration process with some foreign countries”.

Volodymyr Groysman stressed that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in engaged in creating of various programs aimed to support the aforesaid industry, in particular at the level of development and adoption of regulations seek to provide preferential terms for development.
