2,500 additional Polish permits for 2020 have been received by Ukrtransbezpeka, says Vladyslav Kryklii

The first 2,500 additional permits of the Republic of Poland for 2020 have been transferred to the State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety (Ukrtransbezpeka) for Ukrainian road haulers. Among them are 1,500 "universal" permit forms and another 1,000 transit permits. This was announced by the Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Kryklii.

"The first 2,500 additional Polish permits out of 5,000 have already been received by Ukrtransbezpeka. As we promised after talks with Polish colleagues. In the near future, their booking will be available on the transport portal of electronic services e-tranmms.gov.ua. Ukrtransbezpeka will input permits into the electronic system when all the forms are delivered to the permit issuance points," the Minister said.

Registration of permits will begin simultaneously in the following permit issuance points: Kovel, Lviv, Boryspil, Korosten, Khmelnytsky, Vinnytsia, Uzhhorod. Information on the start of registration of permits will be published on the official website of Ukrtransbezpeka.

The next 2,500 additional Polish permits will be issued by December 15 this year. Validity of the quota of additional permits: January 31, 2021.

As a reminder, the Minutes of the meeting of the Ukrainian-Polish Joint Commission on International Road Transport, which took place on November 18-20 by video conference in Kyiv and Warsaw, were published on the website of the Ministry of Infrastructure. The meeting was held at the level of Deputy Ministers of Infrastructure of Ukraine and the Republic of Poland. The parties discussed the issue of providing permits to carriers of both countries in 2021, and also agreed for obtaining 5,000 additional permits by Ukraine this year: 1,500 universal E-5 permits and 3,500 E-4 transit permits.
