Ukraine’s Air Force Command hosted a meeting of Commander of Ukraine’s Air Force Colonel General Serhii Drozdov and UK Defence Attaché Capt. 1st rank Karen McTear.

The parties discussed the current state and the prospects of bilateral military cooperation, UK instructors training mission ORBITAL, necessity to extend training of Ukrainian cadets in Royal Air Force College, and issues of participation in Royal International Air Tattoo-2017.

They also focused on discussion of a possibility to organize English language courses for Ukrainian servicemen at home bases.

Gen. Drozdov briefed guests on the situation within the Ukraine’s Air Force, its structure and tasks.

Capt. 1st rank Karen McTear thanked for the warm welcome and expressed hope that these meetings would become more frequent, so that the parties could enhance bilateral military cooperation.
