The parties
discussed military political situation in the country, defence reform
implementation progress and priorities of NATO-Ukraine cooperation.
“Joint work done with NATO
is very important and gave positive results at all the levels: from
strategic documents to Ukrainian military training by NATO
instructors,” Gen. Poltorak stressed.
The Minister of Defence thanked
for consultative assistance from foreign advisers and underscored the necessity
to cooperate with the NATO Liaison Office.
Mr. Vinnikov praised the results
of cooperation and reaffirmed the necessity to continue the dialog.
