Volodymyr Groysman talks over possible ways of deepening cooperation of Ukraine and Turkey in the defense and aerospace industry at the Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc.

During his visit to Ankara Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman attended the Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc., where he met with representatives of the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey and leadership of TAI company.

The Ukrainian Prime Minister got acquainted with the activities of the company and was shown its production facilities, in particular works for the production of components for aircraft, light airplanes and components for helicopters.

Volodymyr Groysman positively assessed the intensification of partnership between Ukraine and Turkey in the defense industry and aerospace sector.

Ukraine is keen on mutual exchange of technology and advanced solutions to facilitate the development of the aforesaid sectors of the two countries, he said.

In this context the Head of Ukrainian Government noted that the effective work of the joint working group for the coordination of strategic projects should significantly expand the range of bilateral projects.

Ukraine has a closed-loop cycle of production of passenger and cargo aircrafts and is interested in boosting partnership in aircraft engineering, stressed the Prime Minister.

The parties also discussed the possibilities of joint design and production of a space rocket complex, as well as manufacturing of military equipment and ammunition.
