  • A conference dedicated to the progress of reforms in Ukraine due in London in July with participation of Prime Minister

    Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman is planning to take part in a conference devoted to the reform process in Ukraine which is to be held in London in July, the Head of Government announced during the meeting with Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Boris Johnson and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland Witold Waszczykowski. He added he would lead the Government team for the London conference.

    “I want to express my special thanks to Secretary Johnson for his idea to hold the conference on Ukrainian issue this summer. We are already preparing and we look forward to this successful event to show significant progress in reforms,” stressed the Prime Minister.

    In his turn, Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Boris Johnson underlined that British side was already working out for this conference.

    “One of the steps to show tangible support for Ukraine is to hold this conference. We will spare no effort to ensure this conference be conducted at high level,” stressed Boris Johnson.

    “The objective of our conference is we want to make sure that the world knows what Ukraine is doing and furthermore, that Ukraine is on the right path and is making success to attract investments and to ensure the safety of these investments. We want to show that Ukraine is the country to cooperate with and that the past image of Ukraine as a home to corruption should sink into oblivion," added Secretary Boris Johnson.
