“The United Kingdom and Poland are ready for resolute support of Ukraine”, said Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Boris Johnson and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland Witold Waszczykowski during the talks held on March 1 with their Ukrainian counterpart Pavlo Klimkin.

Ukrainian Minister emphasized the symbolism of the visit of the British and Polish colleagues, which is taking place during the third anniversary of the beginning of Russian aggression. He thanked them for their solidarity and support of Ukraine in the fight for the restoration of sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Boris Johnson and Witold Waszczykowski expressed their conviction that the Russian aggression against Ukraine needs a robust response, so the pressure on the Russian Federation from the international community must be strengthened in order to restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders. The Ministers underlined the significant progress of Ukraine in implementing reforms and assured of continuing assistance to Ukraine in implementing internal reforms.
