  • Volodymyr Groysman met with the students of O.M.Beketov National University of Urban Economy of Kharkiv

    During the working visit to Kharkiv region Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman attended Kharkiv O.M.Beketov National University of Urban Economy and communicated with students.

    "It is very good that our country has an institution training specialists who will be responsible for the urban development, for all spheres of life. The work in urban economy, local government bodies fully focuses on serving people. All of us live in cities, towns, villages, communities and are well aware of how important it is to provide quality services to the people", said Volodymyr Groysman in his address at the beginning of the meeting.

    The students and Volodymyr Groysman discussed a number of urgent social issues: the developments in the East of the country and Ukraine's struggle for its territorial integrity, scholarship payment, changes in tax legislation and prospects for the development of tourism in Ukraine. He also shared his past experience as a mayor.

    The Prime Minister told the students about the progress of reforms and the Government's priorities, in particular the economic upturn and the development of the national industry.

    "I have a great desire to revitalize our industry and to improve the quality of life. There are a lot of enterprises in the country that can produce competitive, top quality products. We must win international markets and do everything to ensure this product be sold in the Ukrainian market", urged Volodymyr Groysman.

    At the National University of Urban Economy the Head of Government visited a training lab of production and processing of oil and natural gas, scientific and research center of optical measurement and other facilities.
