  • PM talked to pupils of Mariupol boarding school who came to Kyiv to sightsee and visited the Government House

    Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman met with pupils of Mariupol boarding school №2 of the Donetsk regional Council who came to the Government House on Monday.

    Kids' trip to Kyiv was initiated by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov, who also took part in the meeting held in the session room of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The Minister invited the children to the capital for a winter holiday during his working visit to Donetsk region on December 25.

    Excursion for pupils of boarding school will last for two days, during which the children are going to visit the Museum of the State Service for emergencies, the Fire Department and the Directorate of the National police; they will see a show in the Delphinarium and see the main Christmas tree of the country on St. Sophia square.

    "I’m very pleased to welcome you in this room - Volodymyr Groysman greeted young guests at the meeting. - For each person, and you know especially, your native land, your house is very important. Ukraine is our home, where we were born, where we grow, where we will be successful and every one of you too. We really want that on our land there was a peace. And we as adults want to make you happy, make you smile, you had a good education, good health and you wasn't upset. It's important for all of us. May this year bring each of you a piece of human warmth."

    At the end of the meeting the pupils of the boarding school recited poems. By turn, the Prime Minister congratulated children with New Year holidays and presented them gifts and tickets to Kyiv Delphinarium.
