Budget for 2017 envisages increased wages for rescuers and a resource worth UAH 600 million for modernization and purchase of new equipment
In the
State budget for 2017 there has been planned an increase in the wages of
rescuers and the sum worth almost UAH 600 million for the modernization and
purchase of new equipment. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during a visit
to state firefighting and rescue department №13 in Kyiv on Tuesday.
Referring
to the Budget 2017, the Prime Minister said: "We have budgeted larger
wages for you, dear officers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. In fact,
all those who received a salary amounting UAH 3 thousand will get since January
1 the wage worth UAH 5 thousand, the one who received UAH 4 thousand will get
UAH 6 thousand. For your department it will amount over UAH 2 thousand for
everyone who works."

is step taken by us to strengthen your logistics base as well. We have planned
nearly UAH 600 million to upgrade and purchase new fire equipment to provide
you with all advanced technologies and a system for effective extinguishing of
