On Thursday
Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman held a working meeting to discuss gearing
up for hosting in 2017 of the Eurovision Song Contest.
The meeting’s
participants considered issues of elaboration and adoption of necessary legislative
instruments, a creative concept, the place and official locations of the Eurovision,
measures to ensure security in the process of preparation and holding of the
song contest and the like.
Volodymyr
Groysman noted that preparations for the song contest follow the schedule and
called on all responsible persons to effective cooperation to ensure successful
hosting of the event.
The meeting
was attended by Vice Prime Ministers of Ukraine Viacheslav
Kyrylenko, Pavlo Rozenko
and Volodymyr Kistion, Minister of Culture of Ukraine
Yevhen Nyshchuk, Mayor of
Kyiv Vitalii Klytschko, Chairman of the National
Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine Oleh
Nalyvaiko.
