Dear colleagues!

I congratulate You on your professional holiday – the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine!

In its history our troops have had different times – the highs, the valor, the lows, but all those times have had one thing in common – the courage, patriotism and devotion to duty of the Ukrainian soldier.

Three years ago, the criminal authorities were doing everything to exhaust and demoralize Ukraine's Armed Forces: they retarded reforms and modernization of military hardware, devalued the essence of the Ukrainian military, the Government ignored the social protection and their independent social status. Together we are past the point and now the whole country, especially our children, with dignity and gratitude are looking at people in uniform – our defenders, confident, dedicated to serving to their native country and the people, who are always ready to protect each of us.

Despite the difficult external challenges, the Russian economic wars and terrorist aggression in the east of our country, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are being steadily and consistently revived, step by step. The Ukrainian soldiers in training and combat experience can compete with the elite units of many developed countries, and these aren’t mere words of praise but high estimates often expressed by international experts.

The units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine prove their high efficiency and professionalism, demonstrate their stamina and valor in countering the Russian terrorism and invasion launched in the eastern part of our country. Our duty is to honor with dignity those Ukrainian soldiers who gave their lives for their Motherland and a decent future for the younger generations. I believe that Ukraine's Armed Forces are creating a new and bright page in the history of our country, setting a worthy example of service for all the Ukrainians.

I wish our military and their families good health, prosperity, harmony, and most importantly – a peaceful sky for our children!
