  • Volodymyr Groysman: Ukraine expects the EU to implement the commitments on liberalization of the visa regime and the ratification of the Association Agreement

    Ukraine expects the European Union will fulfill its obligations regarding the liberalization of the visa regime for Ukrainian citizens and the ratification of the Association Agreement. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during the opening of the EBA Annual General Meeting.

    "For Ukraine, the Ukrainian society, Ukrainian citizens the European integration is a single vector of our development. Today we expect the European Union to implement the commitments and introduce a visa-free regime for the Ukrainian citizens. We must destroy all those obstacles that prevent us from early integration," he said.

    Moreover, the Prime Minister is awaiting that the European Union will finalize the ratification of the Association Agreement with Ukraine.

    "This means vigorous participation of businesses in the development of the economy, maintaining growth of our economy and using opportunities for the realization of the potential we have in the process of implementation of the Agreement with the European Union", said Volodymyr Groysman.
