  • General Staff to receive assistance from international lawyers on investigating crimes in occupied areas

    “The Armed Forces of Ukraine are counting on help of international lawyers in spreading knowledge of international humanitarian law among the personnel of the Armed Forces, as well as the collection and systematization of information to be provided to the International criminal court to bring to justice the perpetrators of war crimes in the occupied territories Ukraine.”

    General of the Army of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko, Chief of General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, said that during a meeting with leading international and Ukrainian lawyers, held by the initiative of the General Staff yesterday, November 15.

    The meeting was attended by managing partners of the international law of Global Rights Compliance Wayne Dzhordash (UK) and Scott Martin (USA), as well as leading Ukrainian lawyers from the Institute of International Relations of Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University who represent Ukraine in the international human rights arena.
