In Ukraine, 6.4 million households have been assigned a subsidy for reimbursement of payment for housing and communal services. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman on opening a conference call on Tuesday dedicated to the implementation of the housing subsidy programme.
"The current amount of subsidy assigned makes up about 6.4 million families. This means that 6.4 million households receive governmental compensation for provided housing and communal services", explained Volodymyr Groysman.
The Prime Minister noted that among regions-leaders in this area, those showing off high results and seriously organized work, are Sumy, Poltava, Donetsk, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv and Volyn.
Among the areas with the worst indicators appear Odessa, Transcarpathian regions and the city of Kharkiv. "Your task is to settle the problem within a few weeks. I think the reason is the failure to organize activities inside the regions," he said, addressing representatives of local authorities.
The Head of Government expressed hope that in the near future such activity would also be improved in areas with average showings.
"In fact, the biggest part of Ukraine demonstrates quite positive performance," he said.
