The funds
provided in the State budget for 2017 for the restructuring of the coal
enterprises and the support of the operating activities of the state mining
enterprises should be invested not in the consumption of reserves, but in the
modernization of the coal industry. This was stated by Prime Minister of
Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during
the "Hour of Questions to the Government" at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Friday.
The Prime
Minister noted that the Government lays UAH 1.8 billion in the draft State
budget for 2017 for restructuring the mines and support the payment of wages to
the miners, where coal mining is unprofitable.
