Today the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the second reading adopted the bill №4496 on elimination of administrative barriers to export of services to facilitate the development of IT and other creative export-import operations.

The bill would provide exporters with an opportunity to conclude contracts not only in writing but also in electronic form. The bill would also allow you to sign the receipt with an electronic signature (invoice). The bill will prohibit banks to require a translation of documents into Ukrainian language, if they are in English.

Nataliya Mykolska, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade - Trade representative of Ukraine commented on the bill: “Simultaneously with the promotion of Ukrainian exports abroad and the development of a National Export Strategy we have a responsibility to do home task. The bill 4496 is just such an important homework. It greatly simplifies the export of services and supports freelancers in Ukraine.”
