A Low “On energy efficiency of buildings” which will be considered in the Verkhovna Rada to create transparent and comprehensive market of energy auditors in Ukraine. This was started by Vice Prime Minister/Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities of Ukraine Hennadii Zubko during presentation of the draft low.

“In the conduct of the energy audit a man is free to choose an energy auditor, energy service company or project organization. In addition, the state is not involved in the certification of auditors. Educational institutions prepare such specialists, and self-regulatory organizations carry out certification. This system eliminates the risks of corruption and bureaucratic procedures”, Hennadii Zubko said.

The bill “On energy efficiency of buildings” provides for the introduction of certification of the energy efficiency of buildings. This is one of the basic laws necessary for full implementation of the reform of the energy efficiency.
