Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman has called on people's deputies of Ukraine to include in the agenda and to consider a Government bill on special confiscation that will lead to return to the Budget $ 1.5 billion stolen by officials. This was stated by Volodymyr Groysman speaking during an hour of questions to the Government at the Parliament on Friday.

"I would ask people's deputies of Ukraine once again gather together, conduct a workshop; find those compromise that will allow you to restore justice. I believe that this task is a priority No. 1. So I'd like to ask to work for that next week either on Tuesday or Thursday to finally vote the Law and to enable law enforcement system to restore fairness to the Ukrainian people," - Volodymyr Groysman said.

The Prime Minister noted that the Government and he personally had repeatedly expressed thier position regarding the funds that were stolen from the Ukrainian people in the amount of $ 1.5 billion.

"The Government has clearly expressed its position; it voted and passed the draft Law on special confiscation to the Ukrainian Parliament. We did it on Tuesday", - he reminded.

"I address once again to the Ukrainian Parliament that this Law will be included in the agenda and will be voted to the funds that were stolen from the Ukrainian people, will be returned to the national budget, - said the Prime Minister. - We need to return these resources. And we need to do this in a legislative way to do that according to the practice of European countries".

Volodymyr Groysman also said that the Government cannot unilaterally dispose of these resources.

"These funds will be publicly transferred to the account of the state, and then the Ukrainian Parliament has made a  decision on priority," he said.
