Prime Minister inspected road repair activities in Cherkasy, Kirovograd and Poltava regions

On Tuesday, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman examined the progress of repair activities on public motor roads in Cherkasy, Kirovograd and Poltava regions.

So, the Head of Government visited road sections H-16 Zolotonosha-Cherkasy-Smila-Uman, M-04 Znamjanka-Luhansk-Izvaryne and M-22 Poltava-Olexandria.

Chairmen of regional state administrations noted that the amount of funds allocated for reconstruction of roads had increased severalfold as compared to previous years.

In turn, Volodymyr Groysman noted that for several months the Government had managed to launch properly the process of road overhaul and repair in the country.

"This year marks the beginning of a large-scale reconstruction and construction of roads in Ukraine”, said the Prime Minister. “We will continue this process. It means infrastructure and new jobs. I reiterate this is just the beginning."
